Audrey Azoulay, Minister of Culture and Communication, congratulates Mohamed El Khatib, winner of the 2016 Grand Prix de Littérature dramatique and Nathalie Papin, winner of the 2016 Grand Prix de Littérature dramatique Jeunesse.
The text of Mohamed El Khatib, "End in Beauty", published by the Éditions Les Solitaires intempestifs, carries, by a polyphonic writing of great sensitivity, a narrative of a masterful dramatic force all in modesty and humour.
"Léonie and Noélie"by Nathalie Papin, published at L'Ecole des loisirs, is a dense and sensitive text that tells the beautiful story of two twin sisters on a roof above the adult world.
The Grand Prize for Dramatic Literature was created by the Ministry of Culture and Communication in 2005. Since 2015, a youth award has been added. Both are worn by Artcena, the national centre for circus, street and theatre arts.
Audrey Azoulay wishes to greet the many authors who presented this year texts for these two awards and the publishers who passionately defend this literature for the theatre
