- The doctorate
The Chaillot School has been implementing and developing research practices since 2013. Three components now illustrate them: the PhD for students and graduates of the school, doctoral seminars with the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and two days of study per year.
The PhD at the École de Chaillot was established by the signing of an agreement in July 2015 with the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. This is a partnership agreement on access to the doctorate through continuing education. This applies to graduates and students of the school who wish to enrol in doctoral studies. This convention makes it possible to host these postulants at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in four doctoral schools: archaeology, history, art history and geography. The particularity of this convention is that it is based on a double thesis direction.
