See you at the gardens 2024
From May 31 to June 2, 2024, the 21st edition of Rendez-vous aux jardins is an invitation to walk and discover (or rediscover) our green spaces.
Mis à jour le
The 2024 regional programme
The national programme is available on the official website of the operation as well as on the social networks.
The DRAC Centre-Val de Loire declines all responsibility for the content and any changes made to the programs.
Why such a demonstration?
This event aims to make the public understand the importance of knowledge, protection, conservation, maintenance, restoration, the creation of gardens and the transmission of know-how. It is also an opportunity to federate the many actions that already exist at national and local level (including actions implemented by regional cultural affairs departments and local authorities).
The owners and managers of the gardens are invited to organize specific activities: guided tours, demonstrations of know-how, exhibitions, games/ competitions, openings until dusk ... In addition, owners are encouraged to provide visitors with an explanatory sheet containing information of historical, geographical, architectural, botanical type...
The Rendez-vous aux jardins are organized by the Ministry of Culture, Directorate General of Heritage, in collaboration with the Comité des parcs et jardins de France, the Demeure Historique, the Vieux maisons Françaises and the Centre des monuments nationaux.
What are the conditions to open your garden?
The garden must have a historical, aesthetic, architectural, landscape, botanical interest... and it must be well maintained.
The reception of the public must be provided in the best conditions. It is desired: - The presence of the owner, the gardener, or a companion - The organization of guided tours and/ or the provision of support materials for the visit
Access to the garden and the various activities must be offered at preferential rates: guided tours, demonstrations of know-how, exchanges with the gardener, workshops for young people, musical entertainment, etc. Free admission should be given to children under 18, especially on Fridays (a day especially dedicated to school children).

Some input instructions:
- do not group all your programming into one sheet. It will penalize your events that cannot be queried by the search engine filters of the official website of the operation.
- if an event is offered for free access but also for paid access (e.g. group visits), two separate offers should be created because they do not offer the same access conditions. events are easily duplicatable!
- Images illustrating your event should be 500x280 pixels in jpeg or png format and 200 KB maximum
Attention : You are responsible for the content you post in the agenda. In particular, you must ensure that you have released the rights of the images because they can be reused by third parties.
