Territorial agreements
In 2010, the DRAC Centre-Val de Loire initiated the Regional Cultural Convention, with priority given to rural or landlocked areas. In this context, the purpose of these conventions is to assist local and regional authorities in defining and implementing their cultural policies. These aim to promote, on the one hand, the attractiveness of territories in relation to economic and tourist factors, and, on the other hand, the accessibility of all audiences to culture. Launched in January 2015, the cultural pacts are part of these territorial conventions. Three pacts are currently active in our region. Another type of territorial agreement: Contracts Territory Reading (CTL). Launched in 2011, this mechanism is intended to contribute to the coherence of all the actions carried out in a given territory, whether in terms of strengthening the public reading network or initiatives to promote the development of reading. A new contract was signed in 2017 with the Department of Loir-et-Cher and, in 2018, with the Department of Loiret.
